Istanbul (not Constantinople!)

So i signed into my Gmail before logging in and there was this terrible moment where it automatically signed me in as, y'know, me, and i was like omigod blogger is following me aaaah. But then I figured it out. Right now I am at the Sydney Hostel in Istanbul, Turkey. It is a stones throw from the Hagaia Sophia and also the Blue Mosque if you have big forearms. So far I really like it here. Compared to Tbilisi, this is Civilization, man. They have an Ikea for god's sakes. Also several mosques of excellent quality and a church. Yesterday we did the "wonders of the ancient world" tour, but today was pretty rad also. Tomorrow we plan to check out the cistern and also do a tour of the bosphorous. Hopefully the weather clears up.

Making good on previous threats, I'm reading an international economics text. It is complex but also interesting - reading up on the specialization of different nations and whatnot.

Anyways, there are people waiting for this computer so i suppose i should check my facebook and sign off. Don't worry, I'll give a better rundown later.
