Dan @ Work

So far my only complaint about my job is that the time where I have this 2 hours break to just chill and surf the internet and get my brain back on rails is 4:30-6:45 west coast time. In the distant future of thursday i plan to use this time to walk around, get my bearings, maybe get a bank account since there's a TBC bank right near my job and also my house. LIFE IN THE FAST LANE.

The CAC has been quite good for me so far. I've been to 3 out of my 4 classes thus far. The breakdown?

Class 1 was pretty good, but i didn't know what I was doing. They got pretty involved by the end, I let 'em out early, things were kosher. Not a bad start to the day.

Class 2, half of my students were gone, leaving me with 4 quiet people. They took some effort and also I was hungry. :(

Class 3 is really pretty good. Their english is solid, but they didn't like the book. 2 of them had already read it. When i suggested another one, one of my other students had read THAT. They were chill about it when i went to the office and had Nino, my awesome boss, go downstairs and find suitable alternatives. Then we hung out and talked for like 15 minutes and then she came back and they chose a book.

CAC has an effective beaurocracy. My students all love me because I worked with them to find a book they like, the school seems to like that I went about it professionally, and i like that my students were chill and didn't freak out on my poor self.

Just so long as my last class isn't heinous, this gig might just be the thing. It's more work but its also more pay, and fewer DAYS of work, so yeah. Also less misery/drudgery.

Also, their keyboard has georgian letters on it!
