no need for that. In the wake of post party life 2 things of note have happened
1) my school overpaid me by 1,000 lari and i had really hoped they wouldn't notice but they did and now i have to give it back dammit
2) I had one of those teeth falling out stress dreams.
Dealing with the first is easy, but unpleasant. I have, however, done a few things to address the latter issue.
The best thing (which was just confirmed mere seconds ago) is that my work schedule just got much better. I used to have this awkward 3 hour break in the middle of my workday but now my 10 am class just swooped in to fill the gap. My work schedule?
Monday: class from 11 to 1, and they understand that we'll need makeup classes a bunch in case of travel
Tuesday: Class from noon to 2, 2:20 to 4:20, 4:30 to 6:30, and 6:45 to 8:45
Wednesday: Go work for mark? Or makeup classes.
Thursday: Same as Tuesday
Friday: Same as wednesday
Saturday: class from 12-2, 2-4, 4-6.
This, combined with the email I sent to my TBILISI TRAVEL AWESOME HELESKIING job informing them that I would be unable to come in to the office 3 times a week due to madness, but I can work from home for lets say 8 hours or something while maintaining sanity. Still no response on that end.
In much more interesting news, I've started writing for pleasure again. Time was I started getting ideas about writing something "important" but the problem is I really like science fiction and with science fiction people can tell when you're writing something "important". With characters with names like "REligion" and "science" and a thinly veiled GOD = AI CONSTRUCT setting or something. I mean, big ups to Asimov but he's a better writer than I am and I don't want people thinking I have a Message. Grand Master Flash I ain't. So instead its about a corporation that terraforms the moon and then the people who fight a rebellion to achieve statehood. Also there are castles and knights on motorcycles - kind of a future feudalism thing. Its just for fun. And there's a castle on the moon! I hope Dracula doesn't mind.
So, things were a bit crazy for a moment but then I got it sorted is kind of the moral of the story. I might lose my Google link farming gig but that would be pretty OK. I don't think I'll be on my death bed (where even my rivals and foes will be weeping at my passing) wishing golly gosh gee willikers I wish I had spent more time working for the Georgian Department of Tourism and Resorts, I really might have made something of myself.
I'll leave you with this: America's greatest export is tobacco. Maybe we should just let japan build all the cars, and we can just focus on growing some of them lucky strikes. Maybe we could even grow WACKY tobaccy.
