PATA PATA PATA PON

Today was, i believe, the first time a successful (and I assure you perfectly legal) acquisition of a rythem based real time strategy game has ever almost made me late for work. After Tycho's bile-laden review i was less than excited but based on my limited experience with the game its pretty fun. You just gotta get the hang of call and response. Nerds just gots to have soul.

At the moment one of my obscure obsessive little hobbies that distracts me from the soul crushing reality of our landlady has been stretching the PSP to its absolute limits of utility. Given a big of patience one can use it for all manner of things. Right now i've got it playing NES, SNES, Genesis, and GBA games. It is also an ebook reader. Once i get those figure out i need to find a way to make it a better music player. The system it has built in is absolute rubbish. I also need to piece together the Skype possibilities. There ain't much in the way of wireless networks in Georgia but it's such a cool concept i've been trying to get it to work just on principle.

I'm near the end of my first full month working here, which is something of an exciting landmark for me. At the moment i'm mostly waiting for my final class to happen. Today's been easy but maaaan has it been boring. Um? I wrote an article about a Karaoke place out here? Gave it a mixed review. A-yup. Okay, this was a bust. Retroactively un-read this entry. I'll go do something worth commenting on and then tell you about that.
