So, remember when I said that odds are Georgia Today (an incorrectly named weekly newpsaper) would love to have my writing and hate to part with its money?
Funny enough, that's exactly how things worked out. But, I did get an interesting connection with eurasianet out of it, which is (apparently) a big deal. So, hey, something might come of that.
This probably won't be funny for anybody else, but when i went to the GT offices yesterday they had aquarium screensavers. I could tell because they had 2 computers per employee, but anyways. What really stuck out to me was that as soon as my contact there moved his mouse, the aquarium disappeared and it immediatly opened up an advertisement in Internet Explorer.
I mean, c'mon. if you want to spyware up your computer go for it, but don't make it company policy.
